Tried Duragloss #105 on a test area

I got my Duragloss #105 last night from UPS....

It is Pinkish in color..smells tropical..

Today after work I wanted to try a spot to see how it looked....will do whole truck over the 4th..have 3 days off..

I washed the truck...I used a PC with a 4" pad and Menzerna PO85RD and just did half the hood...after polishing..I cleaned it down with Fast Clean and Shine...

I applied the 105 with a foam applicator..went on real thin..easy to work...I let it haze ..and wiped off...I did not use the Bonding Agent cause will redo it next week with the Agent...so expecting it to look even better...

The shine is deep and glossy..and wet looking...slick as a greased pig...

here is a picture I just did half the hood....

This does look better than the 111..more deep looking and wet looking...

I think 105 x 3 will be a look to beat with AW on it....

If it is as durable as 111 it is a winner ..111 went 6 months of winter and spring...and still looks good and beading..

good to hear that they made some improvements. more depth is always good. Is it more reflective and more glossy than 111? From the photo it looks pretty clear.

Al, We must be thinking along the same lines today,Lol.

Washed my truck and tried the Duragloss 652 #2 Cleaner and that stuff by itself Left a fantastic wet shine!!. Then I used two coats of Duragloss 105 followed by two coats of Duragloss AW. What a shine!!! I'm going to give it at least one more coat of AW tomorrow.

The only thing I don't like about the 652 is that that it's really chalky when dry and you need to keep it off the black trim. It really does a great cleaning job but it wasn't great on minor scratches. Turtle wax scratch and swirl remover does better In that department but it wont clean as well as the Duragloss. It's a trade off for sure.

Anyway, The truck looks great and it should be easy to keep that way the rest of the year.

Nice deep shine on my Luner mist (Silver) Toyota Tacoma, Mike
