My SGed GN has a lot of tiny tree sap spots I need to get rid of before SGing again. What tree sap remover products do you recommend?
 
A tar remover will work well, something like Tarminator or Denatured Alcohol. Apply to the spot on a cool surface and let dwell for 2-4 mintues to allow it to break down the sap, then remove. If any remains repeat procedure or you could use clay if any small particles remain.
 
If the car had any wax on it, and you can get the surface very cold (near freezing is best) - then the sap gets brittle and clay bar will knock them off. Otherwise, proceed with the solvents discussed above.



tip: You can cool large sap blobs with an ice cube - and then (usually) pop the blob off with your fingernail.
