Tree sap help?

we had a car sitting for about a year, under a bunch of trees, we got it started today and drove it around, now it needs to be washed, its a mess from tree sap, i know dawn dishsoap will work but will take lots of elbow grease, more than i got, is there anything else i can wash it with that will take it off much easier and quicker?
