Tree sap... baked in for MONTHS

So my filthy daily driver is finally getting some attention. During my wash, I noticed, the nasty tree sap from the tree I park under wasn't coming off. Even with some scrubbing. So, i tried some Turtlewax Bug & Tar remover... No luck.

Finally, since I had some used clay bars left over from my Saleen and the girlfriends GTI details, I decided to just clay it. It's actually working pretty good... haha...

Too bad the weather turned sour before i could finish. So, next week I hope to complete my clay mission, and throw a coat of some Cleaner Wax on.

Yeah... the clay is actually having a difficult time unless i either apply a LOT of pressure, and/or use significantly less lubricant.

In 2 days, working 4-6 hours a day, my girlfriend and i working together have completed the hood, the roof, and half the trunk. Using 2 bars of clay until they were filthy and unusable...

we have done a few cars like that here and used our APC full strength and they all came out looking great
