Trailer mounted pressure washer

Well, I purchased a trailer so I can mount a water tank, pressure washer, and generator. Does any know how I would connect a pressure washer to the water tank? My main concern is that I can use the pressure washer to wash decks, patios, and houses since I also offer those services. Looking at different web sites on trailers brings up some questions. Can the pressure washer be hooked up so you have a choice to use the tank or hose from a house? Does anyone have experience setting one of these up?

Any help would be great. One of my best services is "Party Prep" which I clean the patio, deck furniture and some areas around a swimming pool. I have also had people contact me on powerwashing there fence so they can restain. Money is Money!

Thanks for any information

Regarding water from your tank vs. 'house' ... a simple "Y" connector at the input to the PW will do the trick. Simply turn off the source you do not want.

rlspringer,

My water tank came with a hole all set up to accept a spigot. I originally used a regualr spigot but this did not seem to flow very well. I then tried a fullport brass ball valve, this flows a lot more water. Just make sure you have enough water flow from the tank and that you are not starving the pressure washer.

With my set up I have a hose running from the water tank to the pressure washer. If I choose to use another source for water I simply disconnect the hose from the pressure washer and connect a hose from another source to the pressure washer, in your case a house. Hope this helps.

Another tip, make sure your trailer is balanced. When I originally set mine up I did not have enough tongue weight. The first time I went over 35mph the trailer started swaying really bad.
