I have a customer that told me over the phone that the paint 'isnt that bad', but when i get there I see this horrible overspray. 100% coverage on the paint, windows, wheels, etc.. He thought it was a silver flake to the paint or something, but i had to explain that they dont paint your windows metallic too! ha. So I spent about 4 hours with it this evening, and I plan on finishing it off tomo after my morning job. Here are a few pics of the hood (50/50 shots). I once again apologize for the pic quality. Camera phone.. My 'good' camera is out of commission for the moment..

Does he know where the overspray came from? That is definitely pretty heavy coverage!

Looks like removal is coming along nicely!

Wow.. that sucks lol

X4 for products/process. I had a car with road paint all over it this week and got it off the paint with clay/tarminator but had the hardest time getting it out from the wheelwells even with paint thinner! Usually had good luck with light overspray by using clay though.

...Holy crap. That's beyond absurd. At first i thought it was an 08 in Black granite, but jesus. Is the whole car like that?

How could something like that happen...

Thirty+ years ago something similar happened to me. At my job they were painting outdoor crane rails and the wind switched and started blowing toward the employee parking lot. Apparently they hurried and thought/hoped no one would notice.

Of course, I noticed as I was walking up to my car. It felt like very fine sandpaper. I started b******g to the boss and all my co-workers made fun of me. But they sure lined up for checks when the company's insurer paid to have the cars buffed out.

By the time the checks came in - I had most of mine rubbed out by hand using somebody's AIO product. Not even sure if clay had been invented yet. If it had - I sure didn't know about it - would have made that job MUCH easier!
