TPnS Bottle concaved....

So my bottle of TPnS has started to indent and concave. Quick mix and the chemical seem absolutely fine no issue there, is it worth transferring to a new bottle? Will it go bad if I don't. It's stored in constant 65-68 degrees. Never had this happen with any BF bottle before....no big deal at all but weird!

I have a few BF bottles that are a bit deformed as well, though mine get subjected to heat since I am mobile. Haven't had any issues with the product because of it. Just that separation happens quicker in the heat.

Does the label appear greasy?

I just checked and no, it's just a weird indent. No sign of anything abnormal, the label is fine, cap is tight. Just looks like a baseball hit the middle. The product itself is fine, normal consistency. I was just curious because I thought I may have done something to create it like an idiot.

Really though no big deal, I just get curious why things do what the do haha. It's almost half empty I'm sure that's got something to do with it too!

Noticed my PB BS 16oz bottle did the same thing. It's been inside my house since I received it about 2 months ago. I have 2 bottles but only 1 did it. Weird.

If a sealed (unused) bottle starts to suck in and the label becomes greasy it is evidence that some of the chemical has started to leach out of the plastic and the it may be bad. However if the product has been used and exposed to oxygen the bottle may suck in or blow up a little. This is normal and okay as long as performance is unaltered.

Thanks for the explanation, Todd. I have a one year old 32oz bottle of PB BS that has a greasy label. I thought perhaps some other product accidentally leaked over it but now I know that isn't the case. I only have about 8oz left but reassuring to know that it's still good. :)

My GEP is in an old LA Awesome bottle and does this as well:

It doesn't seem to affect the product.

Some others I have that do this:

It doesn't seem to be a function of the bottle, as none of my other Prima products did this

My Optimum Interior Protectant, Surfex HD and Mitchell and King Rims do the same thing as well.
I just open the cap and release some air pressure from time to time.

The main thing to look out for is a greasy label. If the label appears wet from the product within, then you might get a different reaction.

You can send me any and all products you are not sure if they are still good, and I will do a complete test/trial for you and report back.

My 64 oz. jug of BF RW does this also (the 16 oz. bottle of RW does it too). Have seen it with a few other products also. All stored inside all of the time. Have never noticed any issues with the products themselves, so I haven't worried about it. I'll will watch out for the greasy label.
