Toyota Tundra Oxidation removal

This was done for a customer which I happen to know fairly well. He works offshore for three months at a time in Africa. His truck is a older model Tundra which doesn't ever see shade. With this Louisiana heat, it can be pretty damaging to a black finish. Here are some quick shots I took.

The vehicle was first washed using a rinseles wash because I knew I had to clay and buff for sure. It was then hit with a nanoskin 4 inch medium grade clay pad on a PC 7424. Oxidation was removed and them polished with M205.

Looks great ! How do you like the nano skin pad ? Did you get a lot of marring ? I have been using the Speedy Prep towel and really like it but have been intrigued by the nano skin pad. I might try one out.

I love it so far. I have used it on two vehicles. I use the fine and medium grade Nanoskin sponges a lot more. They are cheaper and easier to use than regular clay or the towels.

The pad is mainly used on my trashed vehicles.;)
