That is just revolting...ugh !!

How can people let their cars get that way..........

Dont have kids as yet....this is making me have second thought about having any !!!!!

U are a brave man !! Brave man - to tackle that...I would have probaly puked on seeing all that and given her some money to take it somewhere else...!!

(TexasTB) you did a great job this lady was expecting a miracle the Land Cruiser was filthty ,I think anybody here would agree this would be a full days work or more.

Damn, did you get a tetanus shot after cleaning that thing? Those before pics are just gross. What a barn stall of a cabin -unreal!!!

Nice work. My back hurts just looking at that thing!

I had floor mats that went in. They came out just PERFECT. I set them in, and it covered any stains that could not lift. Like pic #4 in the AFTER shots. The mat covers ALL of that. Around the curves and all. She did not mind. I told her that I could spend another 2 hours trying, but it would only make the carpet damp.

Not something I am proud of, but hey...we all run into crap once and a while

Bite your tongue! You did an excellent job on that dump truck.

Isn't if funny that folks with relatively new/and nice rides think 'a detail' will make it look brand new again? That thing was a disaster. I'd hate to see the inside of their house (LOL). You did a great job on that beast. That's a lot of real estate to clean up -and they don't all come out looking brand new. You rolled back the clock a few years on that one, so feel proud about it!

I have a cheap steamer ('the steam buggy'), and it does WONDERS on nasty carpet like that. Granted, you have to hit it 2-3 times & shop vac it up, but it will lift the nasty black/rust looking grime out of the carpet that is bedded in deep. I also like to pre-treat carpet with Poorboys APC & water, then white vinegar/water mix, before hitting it with a dedicated carpet cleaner. I used to think all APC's are the same -but they are not. Steve's APC is strong, but it works VERY well (for me) on neglected carpet and leather.

For a dedicated carpet cleaner......

I still haven't used anything better than Kids'N' Pets. It leaves behind a solvent smell, but cleans the he** out of abused carpets.

Wow! Chris you did a FANTASTIC job. Don't be so hard on yourself. That car was a disaster area before. Your customer should have called the CDC and not a detailer. Plus, Land Cruiser are HUGE. My brother has one and wants me to detail it. Luckily, his interior is dark grey and it's nowhere near as dirty. However, I'm not terribly thrilled with the idea as it's still HUGE.

Chris, you done a great job on that detail. The seats and carpet were a mess. Like the others have said, nice turnaround.

Nice job Chris..you made it look like alot better than it was by far..that interior was a biological disaster....she is riding in comfort now..till a few weeks go by and it will be the same as before...

But the good news is..she has a friend with a van that may be a little dirtier than hers but not bad...and wants YOU to clean it....LOL...J/K

again Superb job..keep up the good work

Al

Great work, above and beyond the call. Did you ask her to cough up more $$ or decide to leave well enough alone?
