I was wondering if anyone has seen these and if they have what they think. Our local dealership took delivery on one that a customer had preordered and then decided he didn't want. I went and test drove it. I think its a sweet car and I am contemplating buying it. If anyone on here has one let me know what you think, others go take a look http://www.toyota.com/fjcruiser and let me know waht you all think.

PS: I'm not sure if this is the right forum so mods if need be move it!

Thanks

i liike the looks of it myself! then again i own a tacoma and love anything made by toyota!!!!
that cherry black sure looks cool.

LOVE IT! wow the front end reminds me of the older toyota land cruiser from the 70s. Itll really turn heads, plus its a toyota so the quality is :bigups .

I also love the Black Cherry Pearl. I to have a Tacoma. My 5th Toyota truck. I had the 4 4x4 trucks and 1 4 Runner. All very reliable trucks. I had several bad experiences with new GM cars. GM would not make good on the last and the GM factory Rep tried to sell me another car when they would not fix a 8 month old Camaro that went thru 2 ring and pinions in 17000 miles. I wanted a new rearend put in and they balked and said to keep driving until it went out completely. I asked what happens when the warranty ran out. They said its your baby then. I switched and have not looked back. The FJ is a very capable SUV in the tradition of the landcrusier. I have never had to get any warranty work on these 5 trucks at all. That says loads about their quality. I have loads of friends that work at the Toyota Georgetown KY plant. They all love their jobs and say that working there is all about building the best cars in the world.

I test drove one the other day. It's built on the Tacoma/4Runner frame and has the same 4.0L V6. I like the looks of it personally, but I'm not quite sure of a couple things. It's not quite as roomy on the inside as the outside makes it look. May or may not be an issue. Also, IIRC, the rear doors will only open with the fronts being open. I could be wrong about that, but I am pretty sure it was on my little list of nuisances. It drove nicely, and didn't feel as luggish as I thought it might on the highway. The sticker was almost $33K.
