Touch up paint specialist (Joliet area)

I have a very small chip on the edge of my driver side door on my 2009 challenger. I went to the dealer got the touch up paint and applied a few coats. IMO I did a pretty good job for a first timer. The paint matches 100% and is barely noticeable unless you know where it's at but its a bit rough to the touch. I would like to get this corrected, but I'm not comfortable doing any wet sanding. Anyone willing to help me out or maybe know of a way to smooth the touch up paint with out wet sanding?

wish I was closer I'd definatly take you up on the offer. The wetsanding part is really quite simple. If you don't find anyone I can easily walk you through it. It's really nothing to fear. You just have to understand the process and why it works the way it does.

I wish you were too! I may live with it as is for awhile. I don't want to waste anyone's time since it's such a small of an area. If I decide to grow a set I may try it myself. We'll see.

BTW I'm located near Joliet, IL. A southwest burb of Chicago.

If you feel adventurous, get some sand paper. I'll bring my PC and we'll try it out.

PM me. I'm in Schaumburg.
