Top of the Line product questions

Can someone please explain the difference between their polishes, compounds, and levelers? It looks like some of them perform the same correction as others..at least by reading their description. So many products with similar results making it hard to chose.

Thanks,

Brian

Here is a quote from their web site:

"As with all HI-Temp paint levelers, the Medium Cut uses a micro-bead, chemical abrasive for virtually swirl free application. This allows the user to move directly to the final step of wax application. In comparison, compounds use a mechanical abrasive which leaves scratches, and requires an additional step to remove that damage."

Also, Irene at Top of the Line has always responded to my questions. Shoot her an email

Yeah, Irene and her people are very helpful and friendly.

The TOL selection isn't any more complicated than Meguiar's/3M/etc. and IMO is actually *less* complicated than either of those. If you're working within the Hi-Temp line, I'd just think in terms of broad categories: what do you want to do- correct marring, or do an all-in-one thing? How bad is the marring you want to correct and how hard is your paint? Are you working by PC/hand or by rotary? Use questions like that to narrow the field and then ask them which products they'd recommend.
