Autopia fire/rescue.
1) I don't make enough money :(

2) My brand spankin new Camry suffers from orange peel :eek:

3) All those swirls on my Altima are my own #$%@ fault :scared

4) I exhibit numerous obsessive compulsive tendencies :shocked

5) My priorities are questionable :sosad

6) My wife thinks my priorities are questionable :argue

7) I don't need as much sleep as I used to :o

8) People (children) should not eat in cars :nono

9) Waxing is not optional :doh

10) I'm gonna' spend more on detailing stuff than I did on my last vacation :xyxthumbs



A big thanks to every one who participates here. I've been lurking for weeks, have learned so much from just too many members to even start naming names, so I'll sum it up by saying thanks to the Mayor for creating this forum.

Me too, I've been lurking for a week now. I just picked up a PC (7336 $112 with velcro pad) and a ton of wax, polish and other assorted chemicals and applicators. :xyxthumbs I'll be spending the next two weeks (vacation :D ) detailing my brand new Solar Yellow Xterra, my daughters '97 Tacoma 4WD and my wifes '99 GS300 Lexus... "happy happy joy joy" :cool:



Oh! and I've stocked up on the Corona Extras as well... ;)

1: Obsessiveness about car care is normal, not a menttal illness

2: MF is a word that can actually have a clean connotation
 
LOL! These are great and I have to totally agree!!



#13. Children are very useful for reaching the lower areas of your car



#14. There are more products available that I want to use than cars to use them on!!



#15. Obsessively/compulsive car care people are awfully nice!! :)

#18: I don't just get road rage from people's bad driving, I get road rage from people's lack of caring for their cars!

#19 - Once your car is detailed you won't want to drive it long distances for fear of getting it dirty.



#20 - Friends and neighbors will either want to borrow your products or want you to detail their car for them. Free.



#21 - Once your cars are perfectly detailed you'll be disgusted at people who take their cars to the gas station car wash.

So so true. The Z28 has never been more than 50 miles away from home in 7 years ( use LS400 for trips) and has never spend a night outdoors. :xyxthumbs
