Today's Van Carpet Cleaning

Hello all! This was a Repo Van that had a dog smell in it. I was just doing the carpets, seats headliner. I didnt dress any of the interior.

Process:

Vaccum (was done before i got it. Poorly done so i did it again.)
HT APC
Adams Carpet Cleaner
OXy mix (HOTT)
Extract with SHop Vac
Febreeze

It came out very well. I got about 95% of the smell out and pulverized the stains with the oxy mix. If you want more pics just yell!

How long to perform the work?

I got the Adams carpet cleaner this week. Can't wait to use.

There ya go! As far as time i had about 2 hours in. It would have been longer but most of the dog hair had been out.

for some odd reason, i know alot of people like them. but i dont really like all the lines. if it was my car or when i do my car i usally dont put them in.especially on a large scale like that. i think it would get annoying but since everyone else here likes them i suppose im in the minority. but thats just me. i dont mind like the mats but the whole back of the van. whew...thats lots to look at.

You stated your products but not the process. I was wondering because you achieved such excellent results.

So do you use the APC on stains, spray the Adams over the entire surface, then oxiclean the whole thing, then extract? Are there any waiting periods?

I ask because I did a van yesterday. Vacuumed, sprayed the stains with a laundry stain remover, used an oxiclean/carpet shampoo mix, then extracted with the wet/dry. I didn't have results quite as good, some stains remained.

Just wanna know what others are having success with.
 
Excellent work Greg --- Personally, I like the lines!

What did you use on the headliner. I often have a hard time w/ the headliner, since it absorbs water easily and often leaves a slight water stain even when completely dry.

AGAIN GREAT JOB!!! Any before shots? I'm sure we would all be even MORE impressed!
 
WEll my process was:

Vaccum
Apc over entire carpets. MOre concentrated on tougher stains.
Adams Lightly over entire carpets more concentrated on tougher stains.
Oxy Mix on entire surface. I will put the oxy on the carpets and then spread it around and aggitate. I usually let the oxy set on tough stains for a minute or so. I always let the oxy mix its way in. I aggitate the oxy with a brush that i bought at target. its great.

For the headliner i just used adams and apc. I lightly sprayed and then super lightly aggitated. I followed up with a MF to wipe off the excess spray.

I didnt take any before pics. My goal is to start doing that. Im usually just so ready to jump into the detail that i dont take any.
