First up, le 330ci.
This is a pretty regular client of mine. I Zaino'd his car back in late August and it's still beading and has some slickness to it. He keeps the car outside 24-7 and has it washed every 2 or so weeks.
Today was just a quick job and part of my new "Weekly Wash" service that I updated recently with a free coat of OCW for each customer. The process was as follows:
Interior
-Vaccum and dust vents/cracks/crevices
-Soak interior with FK1 #425 and wipe away with respective MFs
Exterior
-QEW
-Meguiar's Wheel Brightener cut 3:1 for wheels, tires, wells
-OCW
-Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Foam in wells and on tires
Before
After
Next up, a 350Z Show Car. This belongs to a client who uses me 2-3 times a year to do various cars for him. He owns a performance shop on Long Island (www.z1auto.com). Like I said, this car is one for show (and go)...Recently it was featured on azines.com (http://www.azines.com/linked_cars.asp?pid=54). I was prepping the car today for SEMA next weekend. I only clayed and polished "from the windshield back" since he will be painting the entire nose this week.
The car was in very nice shape; only some light swirling and contaminants on the lower panels. The interior was just dusty and the mats had light soil content. My finals were:
Interior
-Vacuum and dust the cracks/crevices/vents
-Kids & Pets to clean entire interior
-CG VRT on vinyl, rubber, plastic
-Poorboy's PwS to polish all clear plastic and silver trim
-FK1 #425 final wipedown
Exterior
-Z7 Wash
-Optimum Clay with Z7 as lube
-Optimum Car Polish via rotary and red LC finishing pad @ 1200 rpm
-IPA wipedown
-Z2 Pro by hand
-Z8 to finish up
-Z16 on tires
-Flitz on exhaust
Questions/Comments, please feel free.
