First sorry about the bad pictures.

I was recommended by the owner of the black tahoe from not too long ago.

1992 BMW 325

It was a Xmas present for their nephew. Did not get out all the swirls but 70% or so is gone. This car has some hard paint. It needed my rotary for sure :D First I tried ssr2 but had to do 2 passes to see some good results. I switched to ssr2.5 - even with an orange pad I had a hard time getting those swirls out.

I started with the interior due to the weather - 20 this morning and the hose was frozen.

interior

simple gree (diluted)

qew QD

woolite mix

tried everything to get 14 years of filth out of door jambs etc...

exterior

nxt wash

TOL clay

ssr2 - edge 2000 green light cutting pad 6 (traded it for a jar of natty's) but the adapter fell into pieces after just one try :(

took me a long time to get it off the pc so I can put the backing plate back on.

ssr2.5 - white lc pad, orange tol pad, and back to lc white pad 6

pwc - lc white pad on 5/6

pink wax - gray lc pad 3

hot shine on tires/plastic

The owners were very satisfied, and I am going back to do her new black tahoe in a month. (husband said that if he knew that the car can look like this, he would have kept it.

at around 1:30 while detailing I get a call from my VW dealership that they need me to do an interior in a couple of hours.

Well, the easiest money I made yet!

The car was in showroom condition andf all they wanted me to do is to vacuume the seats and clean the floor mats. I charged $60.00 ($100.00 initially but after seeing the car I gave a fair price :D) I was also asked to spray some scent in the car. Supposedly the car had mold and all carpeting was replaced. To me it smelled like a new car (it has 20000 miles on it).

Now it smells like CHERRY/new car :xyxthumbs

So this is what I did in 1 hour

vacuumed everyhting

wiped seats & doors with my woolite mix and a MF

applied NL to all plastic surfaces

NL on dorr seals

cleaned windows

removed some compound residue from the edges of all doors and trunk

cleaned the painted area under the trunk lid. (really needed it)

Great job! FOr those huge plastic pieces try using Klasse AIO and then seal it in with Zaino Z2 if you have any. I used that combo on similiar plastic trim on my acura (grill top and bottom) with awesome results. The hot shine will prolly wear away in the next rain storm :( Like I said earlier great job, I bet those little spoke holes around the rim were a pain to clean off! :)

Gracias!

1 Actually I used pwc on it first but didn't do much.

2 out of AIO, but I have a feeling that Santa is bringing me a 3 liter for Xmas from my girlfriend :D

3 I know hot shine will be gone!

4 I sprayed my qew QD on the wheels and by the time I started washing them, everything came off without any rubbing. Which reminds me that I forgot to go back to them to wipe of the spots I missed earlier.

The nephew took an earlier flight and I had to hurry.

They put a huge red bow on top of the car as I was pulling out of the drive way and the wife went to get the kid.

Looking good Tom.

The Bimmer paint looks amazingly better, but their lack of paint on the trim bothers me :(

Oh, for the camera, stay in automatic mode and try using the flash ALL of the time.

bothers me too... should invest in getting the bumpers painted... thats cool that the bimmer is 5 speed.. i would love to drive it.. i bet you're getting really tempted to start using the rotary right? after having to try to get out the swirls?

the passat looks good.. atleast the interior does:D wish i could smell it...
