Today's challenge...

Pander5

Tampa, FL
I did this 07 Escalade last April. In the 11 months since, whoever or whatever has been washing this thing should be keel hauled!

Final pics later (if it ever stops raining). Looks like M105 and PFW!

Hey thanks Angelo. If it ever stops with this stormy weather I'll get to finish it. Had it from 1100 yesterday until I stopped last night at around 2300. It's sitting in my garage to protect what I've done thus far from this rain and crap. (just barely fits and my BMW is outside :wall )

So far it's been a 2 step - M105/PFW and SIP/white flat LC. It's coming out awesome but these things are huge and they take a while. It's looking so good I'm thinking of laying down 2 X Z2Pro.

Man, when I saw the thread title I thought today's challenge would be reading and interpreting a "clone" post. :D

Looks like your challenge may be a bit easier to undertake, but good luck nonetheless.

Tha T-Mac can rest easy else well knowing it is in your hands, and knowing you have a digital camera to show off your pain stacking labor :notme:

Can't wait for the after "picture"

ZOOM, weed only makes you hungry. It doesn't effect your ability to spell, type, or make you scared of red clay. :yikes: Nor does it make you refer to yourself in the 3rd person. :passout:
What compound does all this? Gotta get me some of it.

Looks like a Benz that I worked on recently. Angelo and I were very impressed with what a wool/M105 combo achieved in two passes. M105/PFW is a great combo isn't it? I still get a big grin on my face when I start with something like that and make a couple of passes (about 8 seconds each) and the surface is drastically improved. The only thing I don't like about M105 is the fact that it makes me hate waiting on the other polishing steps to fully break down! :D If Megs could make finishing polishes that worked as quickly as 105, it would save us a lot of time. I know that people don't like change and they are use to compounding taking a while, but I never understood the people that wanted 105 to last longer. Yes, it leaves a great finish for a compound, but I think it's speed of correction is even more important. If you want a longer working time, use 95 or another compound. Anyways.....sorry for the rant Pander! :D

Looking forward to the finished pics. The rain sucks, but it is nice out now. I love the cooler weather.

BTW, you, Angelo and I need to get together some time.
