To sand or not to sand headlights

Is it just me, or does the finished headlight not look so great ???

It`s not as clear as when polished with compound and polish..

Kind of reminds me of that late night infomercial where they just spray a clear oil on frosted lights and they immediately look better...

Thought the same thing. Not a good example for their product. I’m interested in the sealant however and wonder if anyone has had decent results.

It`s not as clear as when polished with compound and polish..

When it comes to automotive stuff like paint/plastic/etc., I wouldn`t be sanding without subsequent refining.

And when an advertisement`s picture on the internet looks less-than-swell, IMO that`s a huge clue since stuff that does look great could be awful IRL.
