who owns either one of these an what are your thoughts on it? I'm trying to decide which one to go with. The tk10 is pricier, but is it really worth it? or even necessary?

i have friends that go all out when comes to lights and have both. I personally have the brinkmann and i really couldn't be happier. I personally don't see the need to spend a ton of cash on that light if you really do not need it.

I was actually shocked at how well my cheap brinkmann shows holograms and some defects that really just do not show up under my halogens.

I am hoping that is the case. I got some halogens and was disapointed in them. I plan on getting the Brinkmann here soon.

The TK11 R2 produces a bright white light. The Brinkmann is not nearly as bright and is yellowish compared to the TK. You could buy 4 Brinkmann for the cost of the TK, but you can slip the TK in your pockect. Is it worth 120 bucks including extra battery and charger? I think it is.

Great light. I think that I am going to wait though. I already own too many lights as it is. However this one is tempting.

If you don't already have something like the Fenix, I'd buy it (or two).

But I don't use such lights for detailing.

My Brinkman is mediocre at best for inspections and I see flaws a *LOT* better under my incandescents and my 3M SunGun. I shudder to think about holograms so severe they'd show up under my Brinkman, even I run the rotary better than that :D

Looks like people are discussing the same thing in two different threads! Again, in my limited experience with the Brinkmann, just on my Infra-Red SVT paint, it revealed quite a lot. Again, this may vary greatly depending on paint color, car make, ambient lighting, etc etc etc etc... as do my halogens. On *some* cars I love my tripod halogens... on others, I absolutely hate them.
