Towels

Wash your terry cloth towels using standard clothes washing detergents without fabric softener (most softeners contain silicones). Wash and rinse in hot water. Rinse the towels twice, then machine dry without dryer sheets or fabric softener.

Pre-Wax Applicator

Wash your pre-wax terry cloth applicators with standard dish washing detergent. Rinse well. Terry applicators must be air dried

Foam Wax Applicator

Store foam wax applicators in the cap of your wax container. If the container is too small or does not have a cap, store the applicator in a air tight plastic ziplok bag.

Hi I'm new here. I'm trying to get the best results possible out of my tires. I have tried a few spray n wash tire cleaners and multiple tire wet products but nothing has struck me as a great product. I would love something that would keep my tires looking "dark black and wet" for longer than a week. Also that doesn't attract dirt. What are my best options?

dress your tires and park your car for 5 days. nothin lasts for a week of dd :-B

oh, and welcome :wizard:

Clean your tires using APC then smack some Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Gel... longest lasting tire gel that i've tried so far and it repel water as well on first couple of days after application

I'm assuming APC is all purpose cleaner, if so what kind do you use? I'll definitely try the gel.

There are a few great OTC products you can use...

APC:

Castrol Super Clean (purple jug)

Purple Power (white jug)

Each of these I would dilute 50/50 and you will be good to go

Tire Wet:

My favorite OTC shine is Armor All Extreme Shine (spray)

Let this stuff soak in for an hour or two and not only does it shine like crazy, it doesn't sling off, even @ highway speeds

Good luck in your quest for shiny tires

Trouble :-B
