Tire Dressing

Im trying to find a good tire dressing and have narrowed it down to Chemical guys vrp, Poorboy bold n bright, and Optimum tire shine. I want somethine shiny and will last
 
Bold an bright is good as is optibond. These are both traditional tire dressings that last a few days.

I prefer the longer lasting tire Dressings like T1 by GTECH and Geyon that I just purchased.
 
I recently saw the Gyeon stuff the other day--have you tried their other stuff? The pricing seems pretty fair.
 
Shiny and will last... hmm sounds like you're talking about my favorite tire dressing Carpro PERL lol. Lasts about a month (which is about the most you can ask for from a water-based dressing), and is shiny as all hell when used straight. Diluted, it lasts about the same amount of time, but is less shiny and more matte or satin depending on dilution.

 
So far I have purchased their leather protector and I like that, the trim coating and I like that and the tire dressing and I like that. We will have to see how long it lasts but so far Gyeon looks promising.

I think their coatings are expensive compared to Gloss Coat and EXO, but that is because I wait for a 25% off and flat rate or free shipping to stock up and I have not seen Esoteric the seller of Gyeon in the USA run these types of sales.

I think the biggest 'trick' is to get the tires really clean....
Call me lazy but when it comes to tires I prefer the spray on - walk away 'dressings'. I've tried the gels and creams that you put on with a special applicator, but they're just messy. Spray on is just easy. I have used 303 Aerospace Protectant - spray on, swipe with a paint brush and walk away. Looks really good, not the longest lasting but I liked it (use it on the boat trailer tires all the time).
I'm curious about the Turtle Wax Black that's more a dye than a dressing...but not sure I wanna go there.

I doubt I'll ever buy another tire dressing after using it.

Great deep black shine, doesn't sling when applied properly and very versatile given that it can be diluted to different concentrations.

I agree 100%. Optimum Tire Shine gives a very matte look.

I tired Carpro PERL last year - actually because of the above video.

What dilution did you use it on tires??? I have been using it at 1:1 but I think I am going to try it straight to see if I get a more deeper look.
 
Blackfire gives me a nice matte-to-wet look that lasts. Not a fan of the sprayer it comes with, but other than that I like it a lot.
 
I use it straight when I do use it. You need to buff it down or its to shinty for my taste plus I find it slings unless it's buffed down.

Another thing I'm going to try is Fluid Film. FF is a lanolin based product (I just learned about) that's used for general rust proofing and lubricant applications (metal surfaces, locks, hinges, chains, rollers, exterior of electrical connections, AND used to undercoat vehicles to prevent rust...) .... bumpers, tires, rims, wheel wells.
It seems like one of those general purpose products that's good to have on hand and why buy something extra if you have something on hand that works?!

Any of you guys tried PERL on trim ? How does it work on faded trim and what kind of durability are you getting ?
