Today is the day to remember all the veteran's that are still among us and those who are not. Today is the day to remember all those who fought in any war for our freedom and independence. Today is the day to say an extra prayer for those who are still in harms way and to give a hug to those among us who have already served...
I think I'll go see my grandfather today:)
 
I served in the Air Force, I enlisted in "73" post Nam

Never saw in combat but my heart is with those that have and are today.
 
I served in the Army from 93-98. Never saw any comabt but I served a year in Korea. My heart goes out to all the troops and their families that are seperated today.
 
I served in the Navy, watched tracer rounds from the fantail in Beirut, was at the airport a couple of weeks prior to the Marine Barracks bombing. Thanks guys and gals, you continue to make us proud to be AMERICANS!!!
 
My stepfather landed in Normandy (101st Airborne) and also fought at Bastogne. 3 Purple hearts!

I agree remember and don't forget!! I just lost a co-worker/friend in Iraq on Monday. He was 24 and had a bright future in front of him. God bless all the vets and members of the Armed Forces. Let us not forget!
