time to haze?

i don't have shade where i live,apartments suck. i usually wake up early on the weekends to do any detailing, trying to beat the sun. how long should i let the final coat of wax sit before the final buff? i use Gold Class and Megs Carnuba wax(step 3 system). by the time i apply the wax the sun starts to come up. i say i only have about 15 minutes before i entire car is covered in sun. its a black car too. am i buffing to early?

Drying time for waxes (if they're meant to dry to a haze) will depend on humidity, temperature, and how thin or thick you lay on the wax. That said, putting it on very thinly will help. Usually it shouldn't take long though....
