Well, after lurking for a month, just reading threads and using the search feature, I've decided to post my first message. How much time do you spend detailing? After making purchases of detail supplies: AIO, P21s, MF towels, QD, Clay.
I took the plunge and decided to do what I believe was to be a thorough job. Started at 11:30 a.m., temp in low 60's. First washed the wheeels thoroughly, 5 mins each. Then emptied, rinsed the bucket and Dawn washed and dried (60 mins) then clayed the car (45 mins). Sure is smooth. Instead of washing the car again I QD'd it w/ Wipe&Shine and MF towel (20 mins). Then finally using QD on applicator (learned that here ofcourse), one coat of Klasse AIO (probably 60 mins). I intended to do 2 coats of AIO then a P21s topper. But I was tired and gave up. Besides it's X-mas and the family would kill me if I didn't spend some time with them.
I came in the house at 4:00 pm. That's like 4-1/2 hrs and I did not even finish. How much time do people take? Thanks for all the info, this is a great site...
