Time for some CD polishing!

I just got my Meguiars 83 and 80 today, so since I didn't have time to use it on a car, I had to use it on something! I went through my 3 Netflix DVD's to find a scratched up one. Yep, this one had some major scratches. Didn't try to see whether it would play, but I'm guessing no because most of the scratches could be felt with my fingernail.

So I took some befores and afters, excuse the blurry pictures, I don't have a tripod :(:

Process: Old PC white pad with Meguiars #83

Before:

After:

Not perfect correction, but enough to allow the DVD to be playable. Didn't really see any micromarring, so I just skipped the #80.

holy hell why didnt i think of this lol looks like OP/white will be going on probably 75% of my CDs since they dont work

Looks great man, you should try one that completely doesnt read then see what happens after words

i did the same thing today. i was watching bloodsport and some parts were just skipping on me. took it outside for some kaio and a microfiber and went at it. back inside and continued with the movie no problem.
