I am still new to price quoting.

I just quoted this for a decently muddy jeep grand cheroke.

wash

clay

swirl removal

polish

NXT

s100

trim, wheels, wheel wells, windows in / out

dash

for $115

thoughts?

Why top the NXT since it's a last step product:nixweiss , I'd save yourself the step and go from polishing to NXT and call it done. Just an opinion.:)

I'd be at $150+ but you've got to price your jobs at what the market can bear. If that price is competitive but not cheap, then go with it.

Remember its a lot easier to lower your prices than it is to raise them.

i felt i was being steep with this price. the person I offered it to was a 20 year old kid... but I think he will bite.

Thumper is right, if you are offering a three step process in your process and have added swirl remover in the process why add another step. I price by the steps and for that price you are offering to many steps.

Here is what I planned on doing:

dacp

gepc

nxt

s100

gepc has very little no swirl removing abilities and I want all the swirls out...

TOO LOW!!!:nono I would like bretfraz be charging $150+ without batting an eyelash. That is easily a 4-5 hour detail.

Agreed. If you want to stick with the $115, then go with DACP/NXT or SFP/NXT only.

Alot of this depends on the area you live in. For instance, 40 mintues away from me someone can get near 200 to do a complete detail on a car, while in my area i can only get 125.

There are also many factors into establishing your pricing. Are you established and well known? Are you new to the area, etc. My thing is I try to low ball any of my prices, but keep them competitive until I can prove im better. But of coarse this is my first year in Pa so I have to do it like that until I get established.

i live in tucson az, not a good area, right near mexico. i also have only been in the business for 6 mos.

if i can get 115 i will be ecstatic hehe
