This weekend's Project

I have been wanting to address the engine bay in my 73 Bug for a while now. So, this weekend, I along with 3 buddies pulled an "extreme makeover" on my engine. 48 man hours went into it over 2 days...

Steps performed:
Remove engine (took 25 minutes)
Remove engine bay insulation, and clean engine bay
Cut and fabricate sheet stainless to line engine compartment
Disassemble engine
Clean every engine component
Paint engine components the same color as the car
Reassemble engine
Install custom exhaust (Glasspacks) on engine
Put engine back in car (took an hour)
Change Oil
