This weekends details thus far...

Well here are a few of my details from this weekend that I thought I would share. Up first is a 2004 TDI Jetta, it was not in bad condition from 10 feet, but here in AZ they resurface the streets with tar and this client got caught driving down a freshly tarred street. These are just afters except for the wheels because it was difficult to see any difference from the photos.

Procedure:

Wash w/ NXT
Clay
PwC w/ polishing pad
Natty's
PB's Wheel Sealant
NXT Glass Cleaner
TOL Tire Cleaner 4:1
Meg's Wheel Brightner 4:1
TOL grape tire dressing
 
The second vehicle for the weekend was this 2004 Jaguar XJR. This is my girlfriend's dad's car that I regularly take car of and it was in need of some TLC. This is just the exterior and the interior will follow tommorow in this thread.

Procedure:

Wash w/NXT
Clay
PB's Pro Polish via rotary w/polishing pad 1500rpms
EX-P+
Natty's
50/50 water vinegar on windows followed up with NXT Glass Cleaner
TOL tire cleaner 4:1
Meg's Wheel Brightner 4:1
TOL Grape tire dressing
Wheel Wax
 
I got excited with the camera, so here a few more of the XJR... check out the hood shot, anyone up for a swim!?! :beer:
 
Norah, I didn't get it fixed because they said it would take 4 weeks to even get to working on it and the part was like $52 (not sure how a little part costs so much :eek: ). I said screw it and I went to Lowes and bought a new 7336! :biggrin:
