1999 Beetle.

I cleaned the inside and washed (Q&W) it about 6 weeks ago or so but didn't have time to work on the out side. This guy is always busy. Even today I could olny work on it from 7am to 10am

Washed it again with NXT car soap (I really like it)

Clayed it

PwC on a white pad @6

NXT tech wax on a white pad @4.5

Tires & wheel wells have AA

I didn't remove cobwebs or any other inperfections but that isn't what he wanted. He is happy the way the car looks now so that 's what matters.

before (from 6 weeks ago)

Great reflectivity, particularly considering the color.

Don't you just love the way that claying makes the paint feel?

looking good... did u use anything on the windows.. cause they really look reflective...

just curious, but why do u use nxt wax with a white pad?

Thanks for the kind words EVERYONE!

Yes, I love claying.

NXT & white pad - 1, Scottwax uses it with a polishing pad. 2, NXT has been compared to AIO since it has some cleaning abilties. 3, for some reason I tend to use too much wax when I use a liquid form and hate how finishing pads just suck up the wax. Hard to clean.

Difference in apperance between PwC and PwC w/NXT?

Originally I was going to say that I didn't have time to really look at the result after PwC and so I couldn't say either way, but now I want to say that NXT made it look more shiny. I wish I could see the car tomorrow. It will look alot better once the wax settles.

I didn't use anything on the windows - I think it is the picture. The inside had alot of prints.

It could be the NXT wash - After I got home, I washed my car

(quickly) and it looks exceptionally shiny. I think I really like this car wash.

How did NXT bond to PwC? Eric

It worked flawlessly. I left the wax on for about 15 minutes and came off very easy. So I'd say it bonded perfectly.

I have to say that the NXT Tech wax is an excellent product and very easy to work with.

Looks outstanding!

Soo much better than before :)

I always go back to NXT and love it...I think it's a great LSP, just needs to be given a little more umph for the winter months.

looks great! did the PwC remove any of the swirls, or is it not aggressive enough for such task? thanks. :)

The beetle wasn't too bad cobweb wise, although it had some imperfections. In any case, PwC didn't do anything to them. You do want to look elsewhere. I really like SSR2.5 & with the polishing pad it can be very gentle. Plus VW paint is pretty hard.

Thanks Hirosh!
