This Is The Forum for C/D, Right?

So I've been reading C/D for over 30 years, and it's the last car mag that I still have a subscription to. I noticed a few months ago that Csere disappeared without an explanation (anybody know what happened there?), and the issue I got today has an editorial by DED Jr., which I presume means that Automobile is gone?

From what I understand, Csabe(sp) decided to retire from the editiorial post, he may have occasional articles. David E. Davis did return (which is welcome). The magazine business is in flux right now as readership has dried up. Many competing mags have folded. Personally, I was not going to renew after this year as I felt that C&D lost its way. I do not want a review of some overpriced/too heavy/options laden SUV(trhere are vehicle specific mags for that) in a dedicated car mag. I am also tired that the universal complaints from every car test is that the car needs "more HP". I want the focus to return to cars. I also want comparison tests that are realistic in scope. (ie. "more HP" is not a reality in economy car comparisons)Just my opinion or I may be getting older than I thought.

Nah, it's still around, with Jean Jennings (nee Lindamood...?sp? that doesn't look right ) as e-i-c. DED became editor emeritus a while back.

C&D was always my favorite magazine but you can basically get it free online (the reviews at least) if you're patient.
