Hello, I have been doing searches now for about a week trying to get up to speed on things in the detailing arena and I must say that the people and the info on this forum is awesome, detailing has always been somethin I have enjoyed thru out the years, however after purchasing a house, and getting married, then the baby, I kinda got away from things for a while, so thanks to the forum I am determined to learn all I can so I can get back into it, I have a few steady customers that I deal with and I always tell em I dont have time, well thats gonna change, I ordered all new MF towels from PAKSHACK, purchased the NXT line of products, ordered 3 of the ZAINO products, and also some of the KLASSE products. It is still kinda cool here in CT but I was able to get outside and some ofmy newfound knowledge on my wifes abused G20T, this car has seen nothing but carwash brushes for 7 years so I figured that was a good place to start, I washed with Dawn, then clayed it, used Meguires Paint Cleaner, then I used the step#2 polish follewed by 2 coats of NXT, I would have liked to top it with #16 but it is still to cold, I also found time to try the NXT out on my SE-R, this car has 210,000 on it and before I purchased it was another carwash queen, I just washed it using the NXT wash then 1 coat of NXT followed by the spray, its getting painted soon so didnt want to put to much effort into it, any way you guys are great and I really love this place and look forward to some great topics and discussions, Im saving the ZAINO for my Q45T, thats when the wife has to leave me alone all day.

Welcome aboard Chcltbrthr... you have just embarked on a journey where there is no perfect shine, you don't have enough products, the weather is never good enuf, and your bank account gets smaller. On a positive note the people in this forum are the Friendliest ever...even though some newbies ask questions that have been answered countless times, we're always ready to help, instead of jumpin on you and gettin all angry.



In some cases, i'd suggest using the search button, just to make sure, but feel free to ask anything!

I sure do, the fourth one will be here in a couple of weeks, 2001 Pathfinder LE, Pearle white like my Q45, Thanks for the warm welcome once again, I have gotten tired of some of the other forums that I am a part of, too many negatives tossed around and just in general very rude people, from all of the searches I have done on this forum I have seen nothing but sincere replys to each and every question, so once again thanks for getting me motivated, by the way I picked up my PC from Lowes based on some post I had found, I am going to give I Detailers Paradise a call today to purchase my pads. So based on my first post describing my limited supplies what other products would you guys purchase, im still looking for a excellent polish to use before I put down a coat of wax, I have been using Meguiares Clear Coat Body Scrub as a first step, then followe up by the Deep Crystal system Polish, I have used this as a 1,2 combo for about a year and would now like to try somethin different, Thanks guys.
