This a decent deal?

This is a very good price on the pad bundle (I picked up one before Christmas) and I have had great results from using these pads. One thing to remember....if you do get this package, you will need to pick up a smaller backing plate so you can use the 4" pads.

appreciated!

7/8" is a little too low profile for me. Add polishing oils, additional pressures and the weight of a UDM, and they compress to an uncomfortable "pancake" for me.....I will stick with my 1.25's.....

Maybe I just dont understand the philosophy behind them.....One comment I heard was they're thinner to allow for quicker heat dispersion? Well, they're also thinner allowing less to disperse the heat also.....

I use and like the 5.5" low profile on my PC, for me, it added a lot more correction ability to the lowly PC. I can get light scratches out with IP and an orange pad. It does take some getting use to however. You will not get that quishy feel that a fat pad has, but you notice the PC now rotates and - well maybe it's just the orange pad, but it takes less pressure to break the IP down.

I got the bundle when I ordered my SIP just for the hell of it. Havent used them yet, but damn they are small lol. especially the 4" ones, my backing plate is too small for them.
