These Forums Make Us Lazy?

Just One More Coat
What I mean is on another forum I was reading that a guy is looking for the paint for his car rims...He doesn't want rattle can, he wants a quart of something...I'm thinking why not ask a local body shop, do a search on the net, phone book, etc. Its not like he's looking for plutonium:D Its body shop paint for goodness sake.

What I'm getting at is I read threads all the time on various forums, were the answers seem so obvious in some cases.

Do people get lazy and just post the question to get the answers?

Most definitely they do that just for answers. People don't use common sense or look for the obvious.:hmmm:

People are too lazy to use a search feature, too lazy to pick up a phone and too lazy to do a simple spell check or use proper grammar. The internet has helped in many ways, but has hurt us as well.

I am in the market to get a new big screen tv, and I have been searching through their forum and there are endless posts on comparing two similar tv's over and over again.

Use the search feature...great tool

Quite often that may be the case, Beemerboy.

I know that I have asked questions as part of the search. In fact if I were going to ask about some paint I may ask on one of these forums to give me some ammunition for a search. Especially since I do not know anything about paint and do not know any reputeable paint shops in my area since I am relatively new to my area.

There are many members of this forum, that I know from reading their posts, that I feel would give me an honest answer. If I were going to search for something it is best for me to be aware of the subject before I go asking someone, that I do not know or trust, about purchasing something from them. some peoplewill sell you anything wether it be good or bad and the price may be variable as well.
