The Zaino process, steps?

I have read the perfect shine, and then read many more posts about Zaino, and I think I am going to go with Zaino...so I would like the steps near the perfect shine, including zaino, and if you want to link to products as well that would be great, I am going to be buying this stuff for the first time (most of it, so links are awesome)

I have clay, detailing spray, and meigurs gold class wash (will change to 1z pearls after I use up this bottle)

What are the next steps with zaino in mind, and what else is there?

I have a black TT

Zanio is a synthetic polymer wax, a compromise between a polymer sealant and a natural wax. The polymers do not require a lengthy cross-link (cure) time as ZFX is formulated to accelerate the time requirements. Z-2 produces the most gloss of the two synthetic waxes, it is optically much clearer than Z-5 and will highlight any surface imperfections, whereas Z-5 will â€Ëœhideâ€â„¢ very minor surface imperfections with fillers. Z-3 is a â€Ëœpolishâ€â„¢ for single stage (non-clear coated) paint. Z6 is a quick detailer (QD) and Z7 is a car wash concentrate

Z2 or Z5 - Some say Z5 looks better on dark cars (it's a personal choice)

ZFX - allows you to apply more than 1 coat per day (otherwise, you'll need Z1 about every 8-10 layers to ensure you Z2/Z5 adheres properly)

Z6 - Quick Detailer (highly suggested - don't use another brand as Zaino's is very very good)

Z7 - Excellent wash and actually aids in durability. If you go Zaino, you might as well get his wash as well.

Clay, Zaino is good but I wouldn't worry about that one much.

Steps:

Clay

Polish (if needed)

Wash (Z7)

Quick Detail with Z6

Z1 (skip if you use ZFX)

Z5 or Z2

Quick Detail

If you ZFX, then you can layer up to 3 coats / day.

Z5 or Z2

Quick Detail

Z5 or Z2

Quick Detail

There you go.

Z5's hiding ability are very minimal at best. It is not a polish and do not expect it to be a swirl remover product. It will mute the paint colour a bit (and I mean just a very little bit) as it's not as optically perfect as Z5.

Some people like to start out with a layer or 2 of Z5 as a bases and then follow-up with Z2 layers.

Wash.

Clay.

(Scratch Polish)

ZFX

Z2

Is this correct?

You should probably wash again after the clay/polish. The ZFX is added to the Z2 (4 drops ZFX per ounce of Z2). Buffing with Z6 after each application of Z2 will enhance the gloss.

Actually,

Dry buffing is easy and you don't end up wasting as much Z6.

A Z6 wipe (one squirt per panel) just helps clear any residual amount and provide a nice clean surface to accept the next layer.

You can also dilute your Z6 with distilled water either 50/50 or 75/25 as the Z6 is pretty concentrated.

Note: When applying Zaino, go for very thin layers. You can spritz the pad with distilled water or Z6 to help get thin layers.

Just use some common sense:

Have as swirl free a finish as you are happy with as Zaino (as will most high quality sealants) will magnify the swirs.

Apply Zaino to as clean a surface as possible to ensure maximum adhension. (Hence the wash after claying and Z6 prior to applying a layer).

Use Z7 as it actually replenishes a bit of the Zaino sealant and increases the durability and look.

Yeah, I wasn't clear about that. Buff off all the Z2 with dry cloths then buff again using small amounts of Z6.
