The Wet Vette.....

I have used Blackfire Wet Diamond several times on different vehicles and I've been impressed.

I just applied two coats of WD to my '82 Corvette this afternoon and took a few reflection shots.

The car was painted 16 years ago...

It didn't really need polishing, so I just washed the car, claybarred, and applied the BFWD by hand (x2).

That is one sweet shiny Vette!

If you have had that car since 82 excellent job on keeping it in shape.

Did you apply two coats right after one another? or did you let cure a bit?

I bought the car from the original owner about 3 years ago! It sat in a barn for about 12 years, so I had a bit of restoration to do.

I applied one coat of BFWD, went out back, cooked a couple brats, ate 'em, took a nap, got up, drank an ice cold lemonade, added a layer of BFWD!:hurray:

I'm guessing a couple hours between coats...:drool5:

Awesome looking car you have there Bill. Do you ever feel the need to clay more often than 3 months?

It looks great Bill. BWD is my favorite sealant by far.
When used over BF Enhance Polish, it just takes the shine and reflection to another level.
An amazing product indeed!

Even though I drive the Vette quite a bit, it spends most of it's life in the garage and rarely gets driven in the winter. I usually clay only twice a year. Since I use either Zaino or Blackfire, the paint finish is always extremely slick with no "bumps".:drool5::drool5::drool5:

Try some Z8 over the BFWD and let us know what you think.

You're right, Bryan. The Z8 really makes the paint "POP" over BFWD!!!

I just did a quick Z8 wipe and it looks amazing!

A great winning combo.

Should be excellent as a pre-car-show-prep!:biggrin::biggrin:

Wow, that is some ride !

Bill,

It really does look wet !! That is the perfect shade of red too !!
Thanks for the hard work and sharing it in pics.
