The Wax Test...... NEW!!

but you gotta pay 14.95 for it?!

Not worth it to me. I'll just wait for the results to trickle down here and at other forums.

Well, from the "Reader Reviews" box, it looks like they picked synthetic over Mother's, and looks like they rated P21S pretty high too! :D

$15!?! That thing better tell me something I don't already know for that kind of money.

Maybe we could come up with the offical Autopia Concours Prep Manual and charge $25 for it. :nixweiss

Wait Wait Wait,

That is the wax test that people were talking about here? The people who did Thewaxtest.com?

I'm not paying $15 for it though. I already know what waxes I like.

Half the fun of detailing is trying out new products. Why on Earth would I pay for someone else to have my fun? :nixweiss

Yhea but they are charging something that only has 52 pages... So we can make the Autopia Concourse Prep Manual like 104 pages and charge $40 for it. Yhea, we have a plan!

LOL we are tearing this to pieces!

Ok, I've got a plan. Lets create a list of all the waxes everyone has and then send samples to someone for them to test out.

We can do our own Autopian Wax Test and give it away free!

I emailed them about a week ago about when the next round of tests would be coming out and was informed that the results would be in the form of a magazine but the pricing was unavailable at the time.

I stated that I thought it would have been better to have the results on a website rather than as a magazine but according to Steve, "I agree, the magazine won't be for everyone, but so far, we have over 8,000 pre-orders, all without advertising for it."

They had pre-orders before the price was available?

You can't really put out pre-orders without some idea of price. If they did that 8,000 figure might shrink quickly when they find out it's $15/copy.
