Just order my first gallon of Optimum's new spray wax today! I've been waiting on them to perfect it and then label printing and now all I'm waiting for is is to be shipped tomorrow. I will try to post a review with some pic ASAP if anyone is interested. I ordered a consentrate version of the new QD too, since Scottwax and Ron seem to like it. We'll see soon enough. :woot:

Just wanted to let you guy's know you can get it now, cause there was lot's of interest a couple weeks back.

Did you order directly from optimum?

Yes, I am not aware whether they sell directly to the public or not, but I just gave 'em my business name and credit card # and got it directly from the source. I'm sure quantity is an issue too, I don't know if they'd sell one 17oz. bottle to a non-pro or not. You could go to the Optimum forum and Ask Dr. David G. under the "Ask Dr. G" section if you want. Those guys are very helpful. I'm a cheapskate and like to use my non-tax status as much as possible, hehe!

I've been waiting for the tweak and new products for far too long.

I wonder if you can add a bit of the OID (Opt. Instant Detailer) to an ONR wash to add some additional slickness and lube. How significantly different is the OID and ONR? I suppose I should ask on the Opt board but I'm being lazy.

Thanks for the heads up IntegrityDetail.

It is available in a 32oz consentrate that makes a gallon and a gallon that makes 4 so I'm sure you could play with it any way you want, very versitle. Scottwax has acctually tested it and I haven't so I won't be able to compare to ONR for a couple days, but he said it was much a slicker look more like a spray wax. (I think it was Scott)

This stuff is what your talking about yes?

Optimum Car Wax

Yes, there is a new version out now. I've tested about a half dozen different versions over the last several months. Takes time to get the formula right, last sample I got was really, really good. :)

I really could care less. Don't use the products, never have and most likely never will.

I'll just sit this one out.

Kind of reminds me of the big build-up to NXT when everyone wanted a "Lab Sample" from Mike over at Meguiars.:hm

Not trying to be knocking the product line, just do not see the need at least for me that is.

Enjoy the new product for those who have been waiting for it.

Regards,

Deanski

Well I got my order and ONR'ed a couple panels just to play cause the weather is bad, and I tried the OID (instant detailer). All I can say is WOW, Deanski, it ain't hype this time! I usually use Meg's UQD, but this stuff makes UQD look like water (not exagerating). I'm looking forward to trying the new wax later 2day. I guess the only reason I'm so excited over another detailing product is because I was out of spray/liquid wax and didn't have 10 different ones on the shelf for once. And with the performance of the OID I don't see many QD's on my shelf anymore either.
