The last second detail...........

Is is just me, or do you guys get requests for details at the last possible second too? It really ticks me off when someone calls me at 3:00PM on a Saturday insisting that I come out and detail their car that same day. I get this all the time and it drives me nuts because I'm always up for new customers, just not the same day, after the day is half over, and on the weekend.



This week is the Kentucky Derby, and we got people calling at the last second wanting us to detail their ride for the Derby. Of course, yesterday it stormed like crazy, so there were no calls yesterday. I just don't understand people sometimes. Why wait until the last possible second, and then how can you be pissed when I won't fulfill your idiotic request?



Does this happen to you guys too?
 
I'm not doubting the profit, but waiting until the last minute is usually a conflict. Either I already have something lined up, or I'm out doing something else. I can't make profit if I can't do the job. We try to see if we can schedule for another day or time, but most people that wait until the last second want it now or never. I hate losing the potential money, but I can't be 2 places at once.
