The deepest, westest looking QD.

My choices for QD's:

Zaino Z8 (though it is more of a sealant)...looks ultra glossy

Zaino Z6....easy to use and looks fantastic, love the scent.

Meguiar's M135....Easy on easy off, looks great and does not streak

Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer....Basically M135, but with different scent.

lucas oil slick mist. their was a bottle a i picked up in the past , when there was talk of it in this site a while back, but the "speed wax" bottle you can now get @ your local auto parts store is really good.

make sure to shake it well...

Gee, am I the only person who likes Griot's SpeedShine? It's probably my fave for use over carnauba, especially when I'm going for that "richer" look as opposed to the shiny/sealant look.

I do really like that 4-Star UGE on the UPPed S8 though ;)

Gloss It gloss enhancer QD!

Just about the only QD I use now. Adds a noticeable gloss and slickness to the paint along with some UV-SROB protection.

I wipedown my own car (black) in direct sunlight all the time with zero streaking

Bump.....

Well I just used Z-8 over Fuzion-Souveran mix and got a awesome look. I know some say Z-8 is not a detailer but on the back it says that it is. How long will Z-8 keep that deep wet shine ???

The "look" lasts about 3-4 weeks, hard to really tell how long it protects because I never used it as a stand alone product.

I don't have the bottle in front of me, but

as I recall Z6 is the QD not Z8. You should not use Z8 on a slightly dusty paint.

Accumulator! You're not the only Griot's fan...

Speedshine is just about the best QD I have ever found...I've tried AquaWax, OCW, Mother's products...and I always come back to speedshine.

In the area of washing in the sun and the need to get the car wiped down ASAP to avoid waterspots, Speedshine always helps me clear out the waterspots.

I also really like Griot's Spray-On Wax...works really well when the car is wet and smells like circus peanuts!

When I use AquaWax, I've taken to putting the car in the sun and letting it get warmed up before I apply that. There's some type of reaction that takes place when that stuff hits the heat and it has a much better bond/application to the car. I would have never thought that for applying stuff in the sun, but AW does it.

Sorry for the drolling on....

Ah, nice to see another SpeedShine fan :xyxthumbs Yeah, great stuff for use when drying the car off. Talk about idiot-proof! When I hear about somebody's QD streaking/etc. I think "sheesh, wouldn't want that..." and SpeedShine simply *works*.

Eh.. I probably wouldn't care for the circus-peanut smell, so thanks for what ended up being a warning.

Also, I've heard that the Spray-On Wax isn't quite as idiot-proof as the SpeedShine (though I'd expect it to last a lot longer).
