The Claybar is an amazing wonder!!

Poorboys Rules!
I'm new here and already have learned a ton!! I've heard over the years people speak of claybars, but I figured there was something to it...not easy to use...troublesome...whatever. But this place has better informed me so I went and picked up a Mothers Claybar and let me just say...WOW!!!!!!

We've got an 01 Mustang GT which we bought new back in 2001. It had rail dust, orange spots, all over the rear bumper since we bought it and I had tried a few little things, couldn't get it off, so i lived with it...until now.

I tried the claybar and I am totally hooked. Just take a look at these before and after pics and see for yourself. If you've got these ugly orange spots...you too can have beautiful, spotless paint again...I'm living proof! If I can do this, anybody can.

Before...see the spots everywhere...

Now...look to the right first...before claybar...and then to the left side of the pic for 'AFTER' the amazing claybar...

Simply amazing!

I didn't have time to claybar the whole car, but I did do the entire back end and trunk/spoiler today. Now she needs a little swirl remover and some wax.

Oh and I also did the front windshield in both cars and that really made a huge difference as well. No more little tiny spots that looked horrible when the sun hit it just right. I'm no longer blinded when I look out the window...it's clear and clean.

Anyway...thank so much for the incredible tips/advice on this site. I'm slowly on my way to being an amateur detailer. Bwahahahahaaaaa! :lmfao

A good testimonial on the use of Clay bar.

After you get the whole Veh. done you will also notice how much longer your LSP (last step Product) will last, and last, and last...

Yep clay is your best friend.

That looks like raildust/fallout, do you live near railroad tracks? If your finding your car covered in that often you should invest in a fallout remover. its cheaper than wasting clay.
