Old Pirate
AMG Classic Car Detailing
Here are my photos and write up everyone and this is not to steal from Ron's thread.:
Well after a 2 hr drive, I got to Ron's place around 8:00 am. I saw him taping his Corvette and from there I park and said hello and shake his hand and from there took over the taping for him. Once I finish taping I remove all my gear of Towels, pads, machines etc etc etc. Took a good look at the wonderful work our fine american car dealers do to cars in their hands.....

Once I saw the awesome work they do, I started with a Hydro-Tech Tangerine on my Rotary with M205 Polish. After a few passes with it I found that this is what I was going to use.

After a few panels done the gang also started using Poorboy's World SSR1 Light Abrasive Swirl Remover with the Rupes LHR 75E Mini Random Orbital Polisher using the Rupes Yellow Polishing Foam Pad also the Flex XC 3401 VRG Dual Action Orbital Polisher with the Griot's Garage Professional Random Orbital 3 Inch Polisher which came in use for them tight spots on the Corvette.

We finish off and started to do the fine polishing using the Rupes and Detailer's Coating Prep Polish IMO left the finish almost perfect! We proceeded with a great foam wash and blower to dry the Corvette so that we don't touch the finish after the labor of love we gave it.

The flooding technique, for some who don't know of it yet.

After all of our hard work, Ron wanted to use Cquartz UK Edition! Which I haven't got to use or see in person yet till that day. He wipe the car down using CarPro Eraser Intense Oil & Polish Cleanser first to make sure the finish was clean and ready for the Cquartz UK. I was blown away by how easy this product was to use. After using it on that hood this is what I was happy to see:

And yours truely! Old Pirate

I would like to thank Ron for having me there and also Tropicsteve!
