Well, better late than never (so says Captain Obvious).
Yes, I am very thankful that this detailing forum still exists in some form, but I am more so for "the few, the proud, the Autopians (longtime or just new)" who are still contributing their replies on detailing subjects or posting new topics with their detailing questions or reviews of detailing products and/or equipment.
I am not going to lie though about my personal "disappointment" with the quantity of posts or replies being greatly diminished since the revamp of this forum. We (I, in particular) have rehashed the reasons why this is so, so all the lamenting and whining on my part will do little to improve that quantity and as we have said, 'it is what it is". But as stated above, I am more than happy and thankful for those of you Autopians who put up with my ever-constant Captain Obvious questions and take the time to reply to them, plus my oft-times self-deprecating humor, quotes from the past or my father, and/or Biblical references. It is who I am, for better or for worse. As stated many times before, you are all my good friends and associates, albeit "electronically" through this medium of the Autopia forum since I have never met any of you face-to-face. And yes, while the topics are generally detailing-related, there are the times when personal matters come into play, as well as the occasional non-detailing related subject matter that I reply to despite my feeble attempts to keep this a detailing-centric forum, and I am one of the worst violators and hypocrites to my own ethos and pledge to keep this a detailing-centric forum. But it does make for an "interesting" conversation, of which I seem to have no end to nor refrain from expressing myself.. (Ah yes, the ever verbose and loquacious Captain Obvious...)
