Ah, it is sweet when the fellas compliment you on your "shiny", "clean" car, when you know that it really isn't that clean at all! Thanks to reading DC threads on how to detail my car, and thanks to the sponsors whose products I've bought, I've got a ride that will look "shiny" and "clean" to the average joe.

I was preparing to go home after church yesterday (translation: I was waiting for the wife to stop chatting with everybody who crossed her path). So I parked my car near the front door. A group of church elders were talking. When they saw me pull up, they started the compliments. All I could do was goosh. :jump

I had a compliment of "Wow did you just have your truck repainted?" And that was about 2 weeks after a exterior detail. It sure is a good feeling when someone says something about our work! Now only if I could get other people to appreciate a clean car :naughty
