This is my first attempt at detailing, so be kind..lol.. I ended up spending 7 hours, and it wasn't nearly enough time as I didn't get to alot of things I wanted to tackle...oh well next time!!

Were you able to get a mar free finish with the AIO+orange pad?

I really never used an AIO with anything more than a white pad so im just wondering how it turned out.

Why did you do an ipa wipe down after the ez creme? That kind of negated the effects of it. Ez creme chemically cleans the surface and at the same time has a very very slight swirl correcting ability. But most of all it lays down a layer for whatever you want to put on top.

The AIO would have already cleaned the paint up so the only thing left for the creme to do is fill/correct very little/ add gloss. By hitting it with the ipa you removed anything it would have left behind.

I had no problemwith marring, as for the alcohol.....I did say that I know nothing....lol...now I know for next time....haha

Yes, IPA wipedowns are only for after correcting polishes (M80, M83, M105, SIP, 106ff, UF, ect.) Not really needed for AIOs or glazes.

But anyways, car looks good! Gotta start somewhere! :woot2:
