terry cloth

i have that yellow terry cloth and when i washed it it besame all fuzzy and looked different then when i bought it. is it supppose do that ? how should i wash terry cloth? do you even wash terry cloth anyways?

Was it like a fuzz on the towel? How did you dry it? Try washing it in warm water ( perm press) I think. And dry it without fabric softener on a med to low heat dryer setting. Keep in mind if they are brand new there will be some kind of lint and stuff for the first 2 or 3 times.
 
It would help to describe exaclty what towel this is (or what kind) and how exactly you washed and dried it. There's just too many unknowns here. Some towels are damaged by high heat.....
 
i forgot the name of the towels. but they are yellow and have a red zigzag border to them. i just used the towel sto wax then i put them in hot/cold water. then i put it in drier with fabric softner. and i took them out and they were fuzzy and not like they were before at all.
 
Hmm are you talking about those polishing cloths that you buy in the bags at Walmart? (I don't think they are terry cloth though)

Before I discovered MF towels I used them. They fuzz up not much you can do about it I think that is normal. But do yourself a favor and drop the fabric softener
 
They sound almost like the orangey/yellow flannel cloths (not terry) that you can find anywhere. Sounds like they're "pilling" like bedsheets or pyjamas or that old sweatshirt... :nixweiss
