Terrible customer service from Coastaltool.com

I placed a rather large order from Coastal April 22. When inquiring on the 28th about the order, i was informed it would arrive April 29th, and if not delivered the 29th, then the 30th for sure. So here it is May 2nd, no products, so I call. They tell me today, they wont receive the products i ordered until Wednesday the 4th, they will then ship on Thursday. So I could expect it in about 10 more days. She then offers to "Next Day" for me at my expense. I said cancel it instead. Sorry Coastal, I have already given my business to another supplier.......

I usually place orders with them quite frequently, and havent really had any problems thus far. But this was sour milk this time.

Agh. That "next day at your expense" is unacceptable :down. My dealings with them were good but based upon this : :nono

I hope the other vendor treats you well as any should.

I can understand how you feel. I ordered brakes for my inlines at Inline Warehouse and they claimed they were shipped that Monday (Priority Mail) but it took more than a week to get here. They had a PM stamp on the package for that Monday all right but according to the Postal Service stamping over theirs, it wasn't received by the post office until that Friday. Next $300 pair of skates I order will be from someone else. I consider what they did to be completely dishonest.

CMA made me a promise to have my BO'd order on a specific date (I had an important project to start). CMA's delivery was late to their warehouse. Instead of making me wait, even though the error was outside of their control, they still met their commitment by Over-nite shipping at their expense (over 20 lbs) without me even asking in order to meet the deadline.

No excuses, sorry or "too bads".

Now, that's customer service!!!!

Thanks Jon. :bow

Patrick, I can understand how upset you are sense you bend over backwards to have excellent C.S at ExcelDetail. Unfortunately everyone isn't like you, CMA, Autopian store, Zaino, Autogeek, Pakshak and WCD. :wavey

Bill, just confirm your product is in stock first, that should avoid any delays.....
