teaser pics: 1968 dodge campwagon

here are a few teaser shots of my current project...an old dodge campwagon.

it's pretty much one giant lesson in oxidation. i haven't confirmed with the owner yet, but it also appears to have been repainted. badly. multiple times.

there is rust everywhere, as well as exposed primer or whatever was painted over in several areas.

a few befores:

and the progress so far...can you tell where i've polished? yes, there are two halogens shining on the areas shown...the oxidation is so bad you just can't really see the one on the left! :soscared:

the small section shown completely dominated two pads...a 6.5" and 4".

and a start on the aluminum. SUPER messy doing this stuff!!!!

i'm estimating this will take 25-30 hours for the exterior. the interior has similar work to do...the inside of the aluminum topper also needs to be done, etc.

That "polishing progress" shot looks exactly what my 240sx looks like after the test spot I did. One side halogen is barely seen while the other is clear. Good work so far.
