What kind of car is it and why is it taking you so long?

A 1966 Jaguar XKE-Type 4.2 Coupe, and the car was restored 10 years ago very well, however the paint work finishing wasn't the greatest. I'm taking the time to really fine tune the finishing and correction aspects needed for the paint.
