Why do people with children purchase vehicles with light colored carpets?

excellent turn-a-round

Take it as people buying automobiles with light color interior who have kids as great job security.

The dirtier the kids the better you clean up $$$.

Looks great. Care to share your process? I find cleaning a really dirty interior almost more rewarding than any other aspect of detailing because the turnaround can be so dramatic.

vacuum

pre-treat - with a great multi-purpose cleaner and tanin remover. _Folex - allow sufficient dwell time to emulsify grease

Agitate with rotary - air brush to break down grease - brush in by hand hot soapy water very bad areas and wet vacuum out the heavily stained areas to remove as much dirt as possible

shampoo/extract carpet -

Gina, as you are aware, the use of an extractor is the key to a "real cleaning", be it carpet or seats, etc.

So pleased that you made that very clear.

Urban Assault Vehicle !

I sure don't miss those days. Great turn around.

Gina - Do you ever powerwash interiors?

We do not power wash interiors, but power wash parts of interiors outside of the vehicle. The circumstances would depend on the job. Since we pull apart so many vehicles we can pull down a tahoe or suburban in an hour so it might be faster to power wash the carpets and mats and put them back rather than spending hours to get out the dirt out - the pictures above, we did inside the vehicle... Generally we are power washing pestiferous carpets, muddy carpets, and removing seat covers that are malodorous. We are like an upholstery shop with rolls of headliner fabrics, jute and sponge backing, q pads, all the tools to pull apart things and also repair and re-dye leather and fabric

We pull apart stuff like this to fix water leaks in vehicles
