I am close to launching my business but very confused on what cleaning chemicals to buy. I want to do the best work in town so I want the best chemicals to do the job right but still want to make a little money at too. I going to be doing mostly cars washing and some light detailing until I learn how to do a full detail. I have my van, pressure washer, vacuum, orbital polisher, generator etc. and there putting a big fat sign on my van today all I need to do is nail this chemical thing down I'll be good to go.

So I made a list

Tar/Grease Remover

One Step Wax

Wheel/Tire Cleaner

Rubber Dressing

Glass Cleaner

Glass Polish

Engine Cleaner

Engine Dressing

Chrome Polish

Vinyl/Leather Cleaner

Vinyl Dressing

Leather Conditioner

Deodorize

Exterior Shampoo

One other important thing is the size of the chemicals come in, a 8oz bottle of rubber dressing is not going to last me for long I think I need gal size for some of this stuff.

The only other equipment that I have not pick up yet is a carpet extractor these little guys are not cheap. I don't want to get a cheap Wal-mart thing but my money is starting to run out lol. Maybe someone might know where I get a used one.

Any help in choosing the right chemicals would be appreciated

Lazy Newbe :D

Thank you

Wash Me,

The best route to get started is to hook up with the rep for the chemical line you choose in your area. Valueguard is what I use and all the information can be found at www.autoint.com. The rep will come right to your house. For the list you have you talking $300 - $400 roughly. There is also Car Brite, Malco, Production, 3M, Megquires just to name a few. All of these companies carry a full line of products at wholesale prices. Good Luck

So, i got the idea from VWvortex, and i thought it would also work here.

Rules.
1.No pics of your car (can be the same model but not yours)
2.No cars you have detailed
3.keep it safe for work, or school (i have nothing to do in study hall, and its 2nd period, you cant blame me, lol)

for you Chevy guys
